FinsExpressJa – Terms and Conditions
Effective
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services provided by FinsExpressJa (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a shipping and logistics agency operating in Jamaica, to our customers (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”). By using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.
FinsExpressJa provides the following services:
International and domestic shipping
Freight forwarding
Courier services
Customs brokerage
Package consolidation
Delivery and warehousing services
Any additional service will be agreed upon in writing between the Customer and the Company.
Customers must register and provide valid government-issued identification.
Packages without proper identification or an active customer account may be held or returned.
All rates are quoted in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) or U.S. Dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
Payments must be made in full prior to delivery or release of goods.
Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit cards, bank transfer, and approved digital wallets.
Late payments are subject to storage fees and interest.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs processing, carrier delays, or external factors.
The Company will not be held liable for delays caused by acts of God, strikes, pandemics, weather, or customs inspections.
Delivery is available to select areas in Jamaica; customers must provide accurate and up-to-date addresses.
Customers are strictly prohibited from shipping:
Firearms and ammunition
Drugs and controlled substances
Hazardous materials
Perishable goods without prior authorization
Counterfeit items
Any item prohibited by Jamaican or international laws
Items found to be in violation may be confiscated and reported to the appropriate authorities.
All packages entering Jamaica are subject to customs inspection.
The Customer is responsible for all applicable duties, taxes, and fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.
FinsExpressJa may advance duties on your behalf for a processing fee.
Unless insurance is purchased, FinsExpressJa is not liable for loss, damage, or theft of items.
If insured, claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of delivery with supporting evidence.
Maximum liability without insurance is limited to USD $50 or its JMD equivalent per shipment.
Packages not collected or delivered within 14 days of arrival will incur a daily storage fee.
Packages not claimed within 30 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of at the Company’s discretion.
Shipping fees are non-refundable once the package is dispatched.
If a package is undeliverable due to incorrect information provided by the Customer, additional charges may apply for return or reshipment.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and truthful shipping information
Abide by all Jamaican and international laws governing shipping
Pay all fees associated with your shipment
Respond promptly to customs or Company inquiries regarding your package
FinsExpressJa reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time due to abuse, fraud, non-payment, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Jamaica.
Any dispute will be resolved through arbitration or the appropriate Jamaican court.
FinsExpressJa may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be posted to our website and/or available at our offices.
